Sockets & Temporary Power · Project Distribution

Temporary Power Distribution Boxes

For temporary power distribution and circuit protection at construction, maintenance, temporary-work and event sites. Incoming supply, branch circuits, protection, sockets and metering are configured to loads and project requirements.

Choose empty enclosures or assembled equipment. Empty supply does not include electrical components, sockets or internal wiring by default. Inclusion of stands, cables, plugs, castors and other accessories must be specified in the supply list.

Typical Temporary Power Applications

These uses help assess suitability; they are not completed project references.

Construction sites

Temporary supply configured to equipment loads, distribution arrangement and destination requirements.

Equipment maintenance

Circuits defined by maintenance tools and equipment supply, socket and protection needs.

Temporary work areas

Distribution scheme confirmed against simultaneous use, installation location and mobility needs.

Event sites

Temporary circuits planned around event equipment, supply interfaces and operating environment.

Parameters & Configuration

Options follow manual pages 26–27. Currents, sockets, protection, mounting and operating environment require a combined assessment. Compliance with every country’s construction rules, a fixed distribution hierarchy, protection-stage count or outdoor operating conditions is not assumed.

Parameters & Configuration
ItemListed options / configurationTo confirm for the project
Operating voltageAC 220 / 230 / 380 / 400 VOther voltages are project-specific.
Operating frequency50 / 60 HzOther frequencies are project-specific.
Distribution arrangementSingle-phase / three-phasePhase arrangement, wiring and earthing system follow the project scheme.
Incoming & branch currentProject-specificDetermined by load capacity, simultaneous use and protection scheme. A socket current rating is not the box incoming current rating.
Circuits & socketsCircuit count and sockets configured as requiredSocket type, standard, quantity, rated current and voltage depend on the equipment and destination.
Degree of protectionIP44 / IP54 / IP55Confirm specific construction, installation and operating conditions; other ratings require assessment.
Enclosure steel thickness1.2 / 1.5 / 2.0 mmOther thicknesses are project-specific; doors, mounting plates and other parts are confirmed separately.
Material & surface treatmentCold-rolled steel / galvanized steel / stainless steelMaterial by part, finish and colour follow project requirements.
Protection configurationShort-circuit, overload and residual-current protectionConfigured to distribution hierarchy, loads and project requirements; no fixed number of protection stages is assumed.
InstallationWall-mounted / stand-mounted / floor-standingConfirm installation conditions; mobility accessories are optional.
Dimensions & interfacesWidth × height × depth, in mmCable entry, socket interfaces and rain-protection construction follow the scheme; unrestricted outdoor suitability is not implied.

Provide destination requirements and actual operating conditions to confirm the distribution arrangement, protection configuration and installation scheme.

Final parameters, configuration and scope of supply are subject to the confirmed drawings and order agreement.

Choose Empty or Assembled Supply

Empty enclosure

Mechanical enclosure supply for subsequent assembly by the customer.

  • Enclosure, doors, mounting plate and mechanical accessories follow the agreed list.
  • Mounting construction, openings and cable interfaces follow confirmed drawings.
  • Electrical components, sockets and internal wiring are not included by default.

Assembled equipment

Enclosure with the agreed components and internal wiring.

  • Incoming and branch circuits, protective devices, sockets and metering are selected to the configuration list.
  • Devices, terminals and internal wiring follow confirmed electrical and layout drawings.
  • List individually whether stands, sockets, cables, plugs, castors and other mobility accessories are included.

Interfaces & Additional Scope

The supply list must specify accessories and interfaces. The temporary-power designation does not imply that stands, cables, plugs or castors are included. Site installation and external wiring are subject to a separate order agreement.

Define Destination, Loads & Temporary Supply Conditions

Start with destination and intended use, then define circuits and supply scope from equipment loads, simultaneous use and site conditions.

You provide

  • Quantity, destination, intended use, supply, voltage / frequency and incoming requirements.
  • Equipment load list, simultaneous use, distribution hierarchy and protection requirements.
  • Socket types, standards, quantities, current / voltage ratings and equipment plug interfaces.
  • Installation / mobility method, dimensions, environment, cable entry and accessory needs.

GoodQi confirms

  • Incoming and branch currents, circuit count and socket compatibility.
  • Project conditions for destination requirements, distribution hierarchy and protection.
  • Enclosure material, thicknesses by part, protection, mounting and cable-entry construction.
  • Stands, cables, plugs and castors list, drawings, applicable checks and delivery documents.

Use Additional Requirements for destination, loads, sockets and operating environment. After preparing the draft, attach equipment lists, plug information and electrical drawings in your email app.

Quality Checks & Delivery Documents

Incoming, assembly and outgoing checks follow the confirmed product configuration and order scope.

Checks for the supplied equipment

Empty enclosures
Dimensions, structure, surface finish, assembly and supply completeness against the order.
Assembled equipment
Component and wiring checks, insulation, earth continuity, energization and functional checks as applicable to the configuration.

Documents agreed for the project

  • Outline and arrangement drawings
  • Single-line diagram and component list
  • Wiring and interface drawings, where applicable
  • Routine inspection records for the agreed checks

Required documents, submission stages and any witness or special inspection requirements are agreed before the order.

Temporary Power Enquiry FAQ

Is the socket current rating the box incoming current rating?

No. Incoming and branch currents depend on equipment loads, simultaneous use and protection scheme. A socket rating describes that socket only.

Does the box automatically meet construction rules in every country?

No. Destination rules, distribution arrangement, protection and site conditions require project confirmation. No fixed hierarchy or number of protection stages is promised.

Does an IP rating allow use in any outdoor conditions?

No. IP44/IP54/IP55 are options requiring project confirmation. Construction, mounting, rain protection and actual operating conditions must be assessed together.

Are stands, cables and castors included with empty or assembled supply?

Not by default. Empty supply does not include electrical components, sockets or wiring. Stands, cables, plugs, castors and other accessories must be itemized in the supply list.

How do I enquire about temporary power distribution?

The quote button preselects this product. Enter destination, load, socket and installation needs, prepare the draft, then attach information and review in your email app before sending.
