LV Main Distribution · Fixed Structure

GGD Fixed LV Switchgear

For power distribution, control and protection in low-voltage systems. The fixed cabinet structure accommodates project-defined incoming, feeder, measurement and control circuits.

Choose an empty enclosure or assembled equipment. Doors, mounting plate, base and mechanical accessories follow the agreed list; internal electrical components are excluded from empty-enclosure supply.

Typical GGD Applications

These uses help assess suitability; they are not completed project references.

Industrial facilities

Incoming supply, feeders and circuit protection for factory LV systems.

Commercial buildings

Distribution, measurement and control circuits configured around the building electrical scheme.

Infrastructure

LV distribution based on project loads, cabinet lineup and installation space.

PV & energy-storage applications

Suitability requires confirmation of the specific electrical scheme; no general grid-connection or system-integration capability is implied.

Parameters & Configuration

The GGD manual chapter distinguishes listed options from items to confirm for each project. Current, structure, devices and protection must be assessed together; the options do not imply that every combination is suitable.

Parameters & Configuration
ItemListed options / configurationTo confirm for the project
Working voltage220 / 380 / 415 / 440 / 460 / 480 VOther voltages are confirmed for the project.
Working frequency50 / 60 HzOther frequencies are confirmed for the project.
InstallationFloor-standing fixed cabinetCabinet lineup and cable entry / exit are defined for the project.
Rated currentDetermined by project loads and circuit schemeProvide incoming and outgoing circuits, loads and current requirements; no single rating applies to the entire series.
Degree of protectionIP30 / IP40Other ratings require project-specific assessment and confirmation.
Enclosure steel thickness1.5 / 2.0 mmOther thicknesses are project-specific. Door and mounting-plate thicknesses are specified separately.
Enclosure materialCold-rolled steel / galvanized steel / stainless steelMaterial is selected for the project.
Surface finishPowder coating for steel cabinetsStainless-steel finish and colour are confirmed for the project.
DimensionsWidth × height × depth, in mmDetermined by circuits, layout and maintenance space.
Electrical configurationIncoming, feeder, protection, metering and control devicesDefined by the drawings and component list.

Electrical ratings describe the assembled configuration. An empty enclosure alone is not assigned a complete-equipment voltage or current rating.

Final parameters, configuration and scope of supply are subject to the confirmed drawings and order agreement.

Choose Your Scope of Supply

Empty enclosure

Fixed mechanical cabinet supply for assembly to your own scheme.

  • Doors, mounting plate, base and mechanical accessories as listed.
  • Dimensions, cabinet lineup, openings and cable entry / exit follow the confirmed drawings.
  • Internal electrical components are excluded; complete-equipment electrical ratings do not apply to the empty enclosure alone.

Assembled equipment

Cabinet with the agreed electrical configuration.

  • Components, busbars, terminals and internal wiring against the confirmed drawings and configuration list.
  • Incoming, feeder, protection, metering and control circuits as defined in the electrical scheme.
  • Applicable inspections and delivery documents follow the supplied configuration and order agreement.

Items to Agree Separately

Partial supply, external cables, site installation and commissioning require a separate agreement. Identify included items, interfaces and responsibilities in the supply list; assembled supply does not automatically include onsite work.

Define Your GGD Configuration

Start with the available distribution requirements or preliminary drawings, then confirm the configuration item by item.

You provide

  • Quantity, supply form and operating environment.
  • Working voltage and frequency, incoming / outgoing circuits, loads and current requirements.
  • Available dimensions, cabinet lineup, cable entry positions and maintenance space.
  • Brand preferences, electrical drawings and required inspection / delivery documents.

GoodQi confirms

  • Electrical configuration and component list against the loads and circuit scheme.
  • Enclosure material, thickness by part, surface finish, dimensions and mechanical accessories.
  • Cabinet and wiring interfaces, protection requirements and supply responsibilities.
  • Drawings, supply list, inspections and document scope before production.

Use Additional Requirements in the RFQ for the supply form, incoming / outgoing circuits, current and cabinet lineup. Attach drawings in your email app after preparing the draft.

Quality Checks & Delivery Documents

Incoming, assembly and outgoing checks follow the confirmed product configuration and order scope.

Checks for the supplied equipment

Empty enclosures
Dimensions, structure, surface finish, assembly and supply completeness against the order.
Assembled equipment
Component and wiring checks, insulation, earth continuity, energization and functional checks as applicable to the configuration.

Documents agreed for the project

  • Outline and arrangement drawings
  • Single-line diagram and component list
  • Wiring and interface drawings, where applicable
  • Routine inspection records for the agreed checks

Required documents, submission stages and any witness or special inspection requirements are agreed before the order.

GGD Enquiry FAQ

How does GGD differ from withdrawable series?

GGD uses a fixed cabinet structure. Projects requiring withdrawable functional units need a separate assessment of a suitable structural series and interfaces; changing the product name alone is not sufficient.

Can I order an empty enclosure?

Yes. Provide the structure, dimensions, openings and mechanical accessory requirements. Internal electrical components are excluded; included items follow the agreed list.

What if my voltage or IP requirement is not listed?

Include it in your enquiry for assessment against the electrical scheme, devices and enclosure structure. Listed options also require project confirmation and do not imply that every combination is possible.

How do I submit circuit requirements and drawings?

Select Request a GGD Quote to open the form with GGD preselected. Enter circuit and current requirements, prepare the email draft, attach drawings and review before sending.
